Bond, James Bond. Turns out both were 007 fans. Some even say that both men were reading books by Ian Fleming the night before the assassination.
Kennedy, in particular, is credited with giving the Bond creator a major boost in the American book market. After Kennedy listed Fleming's "From Russia With Love" among his favorite books, sales of the British-born playboy's adventures took off.
